Summary: When Buffy went into Hell to save Lily, she didn't make it back out. Fighting her way through to the Ninth Circle of Hell(Dante's Inferno), she makes a deal with the Devil. Give the devil his due, he always keeps his words, it's the fine print that gets you every time though.

Author's Note:The is an AU and the Vampire Council though based on the LKH novels are based on how I see them developing with Buffy's influence, also please remember the original story was written in 2005 when the Council though named had very little information about them. Therefore, the Council are totally AU, and aren't meant to in any way be comparative to the LKH characters although some overlap may occur.

Special Note:Dark fic where Buffy's character is dark and complex. Please, know that I don't dislike any characters. Purely different viewpoint of the events in Cerulean Sins, with much darker results. This story isn't written for the squeamish.
