Author's Notes: I'm not nor will I ever be a J.R.R.Tolkien expert. I did a lot of research with the book and with the use of websites to get scenes correct. I hurried the timeline along just skimming over large sections in order to arrive at the sections that I was aiming at. Please, don't throw stones. I'm a total LoTR fan otherwise I'd never write a story about anything pertaining to it.
Yes, Éowyn is Théoden's niece, but I changed their relationship on purpose. The name Ariel was easy to create from Galadriel's name, although it isn't Elvish name, since Celebrian appears to be a derivation of Celeborn. A note of trivia. Ariel in Hebrew means 'Lioness of God' and Elizabeth means "Consecreated by God." They're fitting names for a chosen warrior, if you ask me.
